ELECTRONEWS : Da dove nasce la tua passione per la musica elettronica e quando hai capito che volevi un lavoro come il dj?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : Un giorno, avevo circa 12 anni, mi ritrovo due giradischi Technics in camera portati da Londra da mia sorella. Da allora non ricordo più nulla: la musica è per me un’esperienza inebriante.

 

ELECTRONEWS : Sei uscito sulla prestigiosa label “Figure” di Len Faki, come nasce la vostra collaborazione?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : Nel 2008 iniziai a notare una certa evoluzione nella mia musica, e ho creduto semplicemente che ci fossero degli elementi vicini ai gusti di Len. Gli mandai un po’ di roba e lui ne fu subito entusiasta. Da lì abbiamo avuto diverse occasioni di incontrarci ed è stato sempre molto disponibile, dandomi anche la possibilità di esibirmi per due volte al Berghain con lui.

 

ELECTRONEWS : Sappiamo che stai lavorando su un nuovo progetto sulla label di Chez Damier, vorresti anticiparci qualcosa?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : Attualmente sono molto concentrato su “Introspective”, questo è il nome del progetto per Balance Alliance, e ciò che sta uscendo fuori mi soddisfa a pieno. Insieme a Chez inoltre ho già lavorato a svariati remix che a breve dovremmo vedere fuori. Sono davvero felice di questa collaborazione, adoro lui come persona e sono anche molto contento per questo nuovo feeling con la musica.

 

ELECTRONEWS : Chi è l’artista con cui vorresti collaborare maggiormente? e chi è invece l’artista con il quale hai lavorato meglio in passato?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : Per me non è fondamentale chi sia, sono più attento invece all’approccio che si crea nella collaborazione: mi piace interagire con chi crede in me e mi fa liberamente esprimere. Ad esempio ho scoperto di avere un ottimo feeling con Tom Dicicco, che trovo davvero una grande persona. E vi anticipo che il nostro connubio sarà prossimamente sul mercato discografico con la Mowar, etichetta dell’amico Franco Cangelli.

 

ELECTRONEWS : Secondo te come si evolverà la “club scene” nei prossimi 5 anni in italia??

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : Non ho il dono della veggenza, cari amici. Penso comunque che ci siano in giro per lo stivale alcuni artisti che prima o poi verranno fuori. E spero che tali talenti siano dei fari all’interno dei club italiani visto che la minestra è cotta e stracotta da troppo.

Quindi mi auguro per i prossimi anni che l’asse del clubbing si sposti verso nuovi promoter e altre location: non credo che i soliti locali a Roma Firenze e Milano ci possano ancora rappresentare all’estero!

ELECTRONEWS : When does your music passion for electronic music begins and when did you understand you wanted to be a dj?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : One day when I was 12 , I find on my desk two technics turntables that my sister brought from london . From then I can’t remember anything : I consider music as an inebriating experience !

 

ELECTRONEWS : You released tracks on Len Faki’s very well known label ” Figure ” , when and how your collaboration started ?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : In 2008 I noticed an evolution on my productions , a I simply thought that some elements could interest Len ‘s tastes . I sent him some stuff and he was very entusiast . From there on I met him more and more frequently and he always been very helpful with me . He made me play twice at the legendary club BERGHAIN !

 

ELECTRONEWS : We know that you’re working on a new project on chez damier’s label ! can you tell us something more ?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : These days I’m focusing a lot on ” Introspective “, that’s the name for the Balance Alliance project , and I’m very happy of my work . I already worked with Chez , I made several remixes with him which will be released shortly . I’m pleased of this collaboration , i love him as a person and I’m very glad for this new feeling I’ve got with this new genre of electronic music .

 

ELECTRONEWS : Who is the artist you want to collaborate the most ? which is the artist you’ve got a special feeling ?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : It doesn’t matter who it is , it’s more important the approach of the collaboration : I like to interact with people who trust on me and leaves me work without pressure . For instance I discovered that I’ve got a great felling with Tom Dicicco , which I thing is a great person ! And I anticipate all of you that our Duo ( Di Cicco & Bosco ) will soon be out on ” Mowar “, label of our friend Franco Cangelli.

 

ELECTRONEWS : How do you see the italian clubbing scene in the next five years ?

 

ROBERTO BOSCO : Dear friends , I can’t predict the future ! I think that in this great country there are some young artists which will come out on the scene ! And I hope they will rock the dance floor inside the italian clubs , because there are too many dj’s !

I hope that the clubbing scene will move on new promoters and new locations : I don’t think that our  clubs in Rome , Florence & Milan represent the italian clubbing scene.

I’m confident that there will be  a renaissance of the turin , bologna & Naples underground techno scene !
