PREMIESKU INTERVIEW FOR ELECTRONEWS

Exclusively for Electronews a small interview with the trio PREMIESKIU , which will play at the milan edition of the Time Warp the 29 th of september at Rho

ELECTRONEWS : Can you tell us which are the members of ” PREMIESKU “, when and how did you guys meet together and started this new project ?

PREMIESKU : The members are Livio, Roby and George, we met many years ago and we started this project around 3 years ago

ELECTRONEWS : You only play ” live ” during your events , can you describe us more your live setup and your special “analog machines” ?

PREMIESKU : Yes it’s true, we only play live as premiesku and we prefer to do it without computer, we use only machines, most of them are custom made. We build 3 racks which contains some analog stuff, samplers and fx and we connect everything as we wanted.

ELECTRONEWS : We listened to your latest album “INDIRECT” , a breathtaking release , while you’re producing what inspires you the most ?

PREMIESKU : we have a really nice inspiring environment in our studio, also a nice garden which creates a cool atmosphere. Then we inspire from all kind of music and visuals. Everything can be inspiring for us.

ELECTRONEWS : It’s the first time that ” PREMIESKU ” will play live at the time warp , a sensational event with thousands of people ! How are you guys getting ready for this event , do you have a special live set in mind ?

PREMIESKU : Yes we do , Timewarp is the perfect opportunity to create and to play this live act.We are very enthusiastic about it.

ELECTRONEWS : Most of your releases came out on Desolat , when and how your collaboration with Loco Dice started ?

PREMIESKU : Well long story, we met in Romania, he was always supporting our music and in 2009 he drops 2 of our tracks in his essential bbc radio mix. After that we also signed to his label.

ELECTRONEWS : How’s the music scene in Romania , there are lots of new breakthrough artists which are coming out every day such as TC STUDIO,ARAPU, ecc… can you give them some advice for their future dj/producer career ?

PREMIESKU : Of course there are loads of talented artists in Romania. We wish them luck and we hope they will gain good experience to design their future career.

ELECTRONEWS : Which are your future projects , are you going to open your own label further on ?

PREMIESKU : Actually yes, we have this in mind. Hope will be soon enough. Also we’re preparing a Livio & Roby album and of course lot of music.

ELECTRONEWS : Can you tell to all the Electronews.net fans which are your next gigs ?

PREMIESKU : Sure

ELECTRONEWS : Quali sono i membri di ” PREMIESKU ” , quando e come vi siete conosciuti e iniziato questo nuovo progetto ?

PREMIESKU : I membri sono Livio , Roby & George , ci siamo conosciuti tanti anni fa ,abbiamo cominciato il progetto 3 anni fa.

ELECTRONEWS : Suonate solamente “live ” durante i vostri eventi , ci puoi descrivere meglio il vostro setup e le speciali ” macchine analogiche ” che usate ?

PREMIESKU : Si è vero come Premiesku suoniamo solo live e preferiamo farlo senza il computer , usiamo solo macchine , la maggior parte di esse sono fatte su misura . Costruiamo tre rack , ciascuno d’essi contiene dell’ attrezzatura analogica , samplers e fx che connettiamo come vogliamo .

ELECTRONEWS : Abbiamo sentito il tuo ultimo album ” INDITRECT ” una release mozzafiato,che cosa vi ispira maggiormente mentre producete ?

PREMIESKU : Il nostro studio è la nostra maggior fonte di ispirazione , inoltre abbiamo un bel giardino in grado di creare la giusta atmosfera.Ci ispiriamo inoltre da qualunque genere musicale e visuals . Qualunque cosa per noi può essere fonte di ispirazione.

ELECTRONEWS : E la prima volta che i ” PREMIESKU ” suonano live al Time Warp , un evento sensazionale con migliaia e migliaia di persone , come vi state preparando , avete uno “special live set” in mente ?

PREMIESKU : SI

,il T imewarp è la perfetta opportunità di creare e suonare uno speciale live set . Siamo molto entusiasti di tutto ciò .

ELECTRONEWS : La maggior parte delle vostre release sono uscite su ” DESOLAT ” , quando e come nasce la vostra collaborazione con Loco Dice ?

PREMIESKU : Lunga storia , ci siamo conosciuti in Romania , supportava sempre la nostra musica e nel 2009 ha suonato 2 nostre tracks nel ” bbc essential mix ” …Dopo tutto ciò abbiamo firmato le nostre produzioni nella sua label .

ELECTRONEWS : Com’è la scena musicale in Romania , esistono tanti artisti emergenti che spuntano fuori ogni giorno tra cui TC STUDIO , ARAPU, ecc.. , potresti dargli qualche consiglio per la loro futura carriera da dj/producer ?

PREMIESKU : Ovviamente esistono tanti talenti rumeni , gli auguriamo buona fortuna e speriamo che guadagneranno sempre più esperienza per diventare dei grandi dj/producer .

ELECTRONEWS : Quali sono i vostri futuri progetti , avete intenzione di aprire la vostra etichetta discografica in futuro ?

PREMIESKU : A dire la verità si ! Speriamo molto presto . Stiamo preparando in nome di Livio & Roby un nuovo album e ovviamente tanta tanta nuova musica !
